Turtle Cleaning Station

I came across these two turtles resting at a local cleaning station last

week. I really appreciate your comments.

I like that you captured both turtles entirely in the frame. For me it often bothers me when I cut part of the subject off even if the photo is otherwise good. Color and detail captured on the turtle itself is quite good and although I would bet that there is more red and pinks to be had in the surrounding corals you can't really complain at what you captured and lit here in this photo. The skittishness of Green Sea Turtles has often frustrated me.

The background blues are pleasant although a little darker would have made the turtles jump out a bit more (I know easier said than done when you have only a few seconds to compose, light and take a photo)

I like it, this is nice work and an excellent result.

Well done using the 10mm Fisheye lens with the flash.

I normally would shot the lens wide open, because of its inherent DOF and not use a flash. However, I can understand  that the flash developed the colors better and F/8 was the correct choice.

The Fisheye allows for ease of cropping and its very large angle of regard makes framing much more straight forward.
