This picture caught my eye out of the many shots on the critique forum because of its color, in thumbnail form I was not sure what it was but it caprued me non-the-less. Nice use of the wet surface to enhance color and provide an unusuall reflection. The lines divide up the picture weel except the top of the fence which seems to distract me, perhaps croped out or having more of the top included so that the right top of the fence comes to a corner might prove useful. A shot withotu the polarizer might have provided better reflections. I think they are useful in the shot rather than a destraction.

William and Rita, thanks for your comments.

I appreciate your suggestions, William. You are, probably, right. Not sure, but to add more on the top may be better. Seems, I was restricted by the frame available. On the contrary, cropping it off won't work, because in that case not clear what those silver verticals are. As for polarizer, I used both versions and didn't get so deep color without it, just distracting white reflections.

The colros and reflections are nice, but the white line is a distraction. You could crop to a square format.

Vlad, this is the picture all of us see, but very few photograph, yet as your image shows it can make an interseting subject. The red and green fg with the reflections looks great and if it hadn't been raining it wouldn't have had the same impact.

Hi Vlad,i like very much such compositions. colorfull, crossing lines and hard contrast. that's the way of making something of inconspicuous motives.

I like the colours and their saturation, it is a very good composition. You have a very diverse range of photographic talents, excellent. (Are there to be anymore egg photos, I love them?).

I appreciate everyone for taking the time to comment and rate on this image.

Carl, maybe you are right...however, it would be totally different picture. Actually, my eye was captured by this crazy mix of vertical and horizontal lines, and colors. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion.

Bridget, thanks for your interest to my eggshots. Yes, I like eggs and I have some frames in stocks waiting for me to work on them.
