Yes, this was Sunday's Rolling Thunder. Not sure what's by his foot. (I was lucky to find him alone in the middle of the road -- soon after I started shooting several photographers swarmed him at very close quarters.)

Another nice shot. I'm guessing the object is a disposable camera. Even Marines probably take snapshots...

Great snapshot! It would be wonderful if the left bike could be seen as a whole.

You don't really see a picture like this every day. Looks like it could fit right in a LIFE magazine circa 1965. Truly an outstanding photograph. Well done.

We know the story, but talk about telling the story with one photo! The essence of capturing the moment.

The foreground is nice, but the background is so distracting that it really ruins what would otherwise be a nice shot.

 

I think the object is a cell phone.

 

 

I only know that my editors would be thrilled if I brought back one of these everytime I returned. Composition is textbook perfection, and as we say, the image really pops. Subject and content give you goosebumps.

Nice shot of Sergeant Tim Chambers, George. He works in the office of the Chief Defense Counsel of the Marine Corps. I ran into him at another part of Rolling Thunder where he was being panhandled by a homeless person. He bought the guy some lunch at one of the hotdog stands. The panhandler played some mean blues on his harmonica after he ate as a way of saying Thanks.
