Window light trial shot to test set up. Done with a 1.65mp digicam

cropped from capture, shot with crop at bottom white bath towel in

mind. Low contrast, high key type effect was the sought for target

showing the fully at peace expression that babies have.

On seeing this (which made me want to look closer) and then reading your comments, i think you have achieved what you set out to do. The feeling of calm is there and I find the compostion is well thought out as well as the tasteful non-obtrusive framing. Terrific lighting and mood. I particularly like the visible fluff on the edge of the blanket near baby's cheek. Very good IMO. One I'm sure the parents will treasure.

This can be printed 4x6 = with some post shooting work I can bring this up to a 8x12 or 8x10 beyond this there is too much loss of details.

The frame is the visual of what this would look like matted and mounted. Without the matting there is too much bleed off since it is a high keyish sort of picture it needs a containment. That is my personal view - perhaps there is a another way to rig this up for display ?
