Caribbean Sunset

I'd love to hear what everyone thinks of this sunset shot.

This is a stunning shot. Excellent reds, nice clouds I love the shimmer on the water that draws your eye to the sun. The texture that you captured on the water is pleasing to the eye and there is wondeful contrast and range in this photo with the dark water, red sky, yellow sun and white clouds.

The only thing that slightly bothers me is the horizon being around the middle of the photo. Normally I am not a stickler for such things but in this instance it sort of unsettles me when looking at this absolutely beautiful photograph. You may want to just try it with a little crop but if it doesn't feel right than just leave this beautiful scene the way it is.

Beautiful picture. I like the symmetry and colors. If it were me, I think I would crop the top so that the horizon is approximately 1/3 from the top of the image. Also, I would apply the shadow/highlight tool (for example, in Photoshop) to gently brighten the darkest areas without affecting the bright areas at all. Nice work!

Beautiful landscape. Great composition and nice colours.

I like this one. I think it could be better using a graduated ND filter. In this case the dinamic range is very high for the camera. With the GND filter you can capture many more details and colors in the image.
