This shot was taken from the summit plateau on Mount Baker. The sun

was just starting to rise over Grant Peak casting this huge shadow that

reached out past the San Juan Islands. All Comments And critiques are

I know the shape of Baker well! this is not altered? what is the diangonal line I am seeing in the bottom quarter?

Hey, Thanks for your comments. the only adjustments i made was to up the vibrancy a little to make the colors pop. I think the line your talking about is the summit plateau. we were crossing the summit towards grant peak when the shot was taken! Cheers

That is a very cool natural, transitory phenomenon, and you were so fortunate to be there to witness it (and to preserve the moment in a photograph for others to enjoy).
