Indeed this morning drains gold, wish all of your mornings as good as gold.

This is a wonderful image and of very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, the lighting here is very well dealt for this time of the day while the composition is well thought off.

Thank you for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.

An intriguing sunrise and composition. The sun is placed right (about at the right margin of the left third) and not already too bright, hence, colors, lights and shades appear very well balanced (that is, the dynamic range covered is not too large). However, I'd prefer a version without an askew horizon and maybe a higher sky (the horizon lowered). Maybe I had stamped a few poles, just for giving the eyes a smaller number of points to focus on (but I'm a damned fan of pretty minimalist seascapes... ;)).

I notice that I am having a heck of a time getting my horizons straight in some of my photos during the post processing..I work from a Macbook Pro laptop computer to do my post processing.

Any hints and feedback are welcome :)

Lisa, I like the use of color in this with the bright to deep oranges and the blues of the horizon and shadows of the waves in the water.
Whenever I need to make sure an image is straight I always zoom enough so that I can scroll to the area I want to be aligned, to make sure it lines up with the edge of the monitor.
