davidmccracken 2 Posted May 27, 2003 Rather a good portrait. I do like portraits and this one is good. Not sure about the background but you did say you were playing with photoshop. Please feel free to comment / rate / critique any of my photos! Link to comment

andrew_yule 0 Posted May 28, 2003 I like the picture a lot, maybe because it's me in the picture, but i like it. I love what you've done to me Dean. Lighting is sweet. Link to comment

Pierre Dumas 309 Posted June 24, 2003 I think it is. The "playing" suits very well. My advice on your overall work: Devote some more time and effort to photography. It will pay! Link to comment
jmonzani 0 Posted July 2, 2003 I think that this is your most interesting image. I'm not too keen on the background, though, I would have prefered it more symetric (the bright left side doesn't match the darker right side). Hope this helps :) Link to comment
ben73ford 0 Posted May 27, 2005 Lord of the flies. (Sorry, I had to say it.) Overall, a very interesting and somewhat disturbing series. I like the poses in the series, and unlike most of the others, like the background, as it focuses attention on the subject, who's expression is rather chilling. Link to comment
scott_clarke 0 Posted March 1, 2006 I really like this photo Dean, the post work in the background works for me. Regards. Link to comment
dean paul mcclelland 0 Posted March 1, 2006 Thanks Scott for your critique. This is one of my earliest pieces where I was just learning the ropes in photoshop. It was a fun shoot with two of my friends and I'm hoping some time in the future I will have another opportunity to add to this series of "Children of Sod".I just have to find some people who are intersted in getting muddy.
