landscapes Egypt Lake from Healy Pass, Banff National Park

Nice horizon, love the dramatic sky, nice exposure, the mountains are very nice looking.

The color of the center of the photo (the yellow red trees) is a little flat for my liking but the thing that I would like to see changed is the trees blocking my view. If those trees weren't in the way of that beautiful view I think my whole feel for this photo would change. The tree on the left also has its top cut off. Its like I want to walk into the photo and cut them down (I love trees so it would break my heart to have to do it).

Nice image, I like it, just needs a little trimming :)

You're right Joseph, the composition could be better.  In hindsight I wish that I'd spent more time and moved off-trail to better vantages, the day was a rare one with the larches at their prime.  Thanks for your comment.  Best regards, RWC
