Rashed, you have captured the ambiance and spirit of Sri Lanka. The curved undulated road & fog, enhance the beauty of this image.

I think I remember this one Rashed, and somehow  I think I like this one even better. Such great 3D feel, lovely mist in the trees. I especially like the curve and little hills on the road, almost makes me feel as if I am in the 'car behind' this elephant.  I imagine you must be very careful when coming in contact with these 'wild ones'.

Beautifully presented Rashed!

Warmest regards and best wishes, Gail

Chances are this magnificent creature is travelling a route mandated by instinct.  The fact that there's a road under its feet is purely coincidental.  I too love how you captured the mist covering the forest.  This gives the entire image a feeling of peace.  Although the colors are muted, they fit this scene perfectly.

Well done, my friend . . .

This is one of the best wild life images. Love the scene, the humor and of course the overall picture quality (as usual). A 7/7 for me.

Cheers

super image well taken, considering you did not have the freedom to pick your spot/angle, with  a very amusing side.

Hello Rashed,

I like the positioning of the elephant.  For me the cherry on the cake is that the elephant sticks to the rules, he doesnt cross the white line ...:-)

Without even leaving the car! What a superb capture. I am so pleased that you were driving with your equipment readily available. Superb work! I love the rise and fall of the road. Superb composition

This is great! I wish I had the opportunity to even attempt to get a shot like this! Very crisp quality the photo, and pretty humorous as well.

Also, thank you for commenting on my photo and offering your advice, I greatly appreciate it and have learned from it!

Take care,

Seth

I love this shot!  I love the composition, the  dreamy quality of this photo!

The elephant's stride( that you captured awesomely), seems to be saying "Nobody can rush me, I walk at my own pace"

Best Regards

I like it. Very original and definitely not something you would see very often. It reminds me of the Primus song, "Southbound Pachyderm".
