jerred_zegelis 0 Posted May 26, 2003 Hey there - this is one of my first attempts at capturing a landscape. Taken at 6 in the morning with a thick fog - the sun just coming up. Link to comment

marco_chiapponi 0 Posted May 26, 2003 Congratulations , very nice atmosphere !! Only a tiny spot : the leafs on the right side are too much , but it maybe I am pernickety !! Link to comment
sjsimmons 0 Posted May 26, 2003 Very nice job. It's very easy to blow out the highlights in a shot like this. You seem to have gotten the exposure just right. Link to comment
trevor_hopkins 0 Posted May 26, 2003 A very enticing path for the eye to wander down. I love the soft carpet of grass and misty golden light. The protruding leaves on the right don't worry me, but me eye does tend to snag on the thick twig poking in from the left. It would be worth pruning away in Photoshop. A lovely capture and a fine reminder of the value in getting up early for landscape shots. Link to comment
jimcrotty 0 Posted May 26, 2003 I really like this shot. Great light and composition. I agree, however, the few leaves on the edge are distracting, but overall, excellent. Link to comment
douglas_bell 0 Posted May 27, 2003 Nice composition and atmosphere. What lens did you use for this shot? Link to comment

andr__lundkvist 0 Posted May 28, 2003 Love it. Amazing. The lightning is so perfect. Looks a little moisty and just beautiful. Want to be there :) Link to comment
jon_block1 0 Posted May 29, 2003 This is great. There are so many times like these where I'm in a place and the scenery is great but I have no camera to capture it. Fortunately you got this one and we all can enjoy. Question: The area where the grass meets the first tree on the right looks unusual. It looks like a line, as if the grass were liquid. Why does it look like that? Link to comment
jerred_zegelis 0 Posted May 31, 2003 Jon- I think it's a product of doing a levels adjustment. There was a mist everywhere... so I'm not sure if it just brought it out. I'll have to go back and check my other shots. :) I'm glad you like it though. It's one of my most successful pictures - makes me want to get more and more! Link to comment
