This is the best time of the day to deal with such subjects, it is called the Dusk, the where the day is truly ending while the sky still maintaining some light and very impressive colors as the case with your beautiful image here, indeed you have well mastered the exposure to work with the condition and the time, you also brought out very fine details out of the buildings in the middle ground while the sky with its superb and very pleasant colors is of great add to the composition of this image.

Yes, dusk it is. This is named after a 1995 Canadian movie of same name... an artistic expression. Night seems to be taking over from bottom of the picture where trees are black. There is some night activity in the gas station on the right. Sky still has sunset drama going on. The brightness of sky is almost matched with lights of building, so there is no need for graduated filter.

I love cityscapes and I love sunrise/sunset photos ! The beautiful and vivid natural light versus the city lights  drew my eye to this image when I was browsing thru the critique forum ! Awesome composition! I look forward to the day that I have my camera with me and have a photo opportunity similar to this one ! :)
