Here is another shot from my first attempt at pointing my camera at

strangers in public.

I am trying to get my head around PSE9 but until I do my photos are

pretty much as taken, maybe cropped and lightened a little.

Thanks for looking, Gareth.

Very strong b/w image and of superb lighting, the group of people are all sound busy into their own affairs and thoughts and thats what makes this image atmosphere a real original one, I also like the details here as they are very fine, the the contrast and tone are also of very high quality and adding a lot of great credits to the composition of this image.

Thank you for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.

I usually have to work in post-production for a while to obtain such nice b&w tones, so I'm a bit surprised that you left the shot pretty much as you took it: good! My personal taste would suggest me to crop the image so as to focus more the attention on the people on the benches, cutting off most of the setting. In any case, a very interesting capture!

Wonderfull shot, great B&W. Just people relaxing in the sun somewhere. The man with the cap is obvious interested in the ladies next to him, the other man is checking his hair. Nice moment, well chosen.

Kind regards

Herman

Hi Gareth,

Technically well shot using the 195mm lens setting at F/5.

The clarity is seen from the lens and cameras settings used.

Best Regards,  Mike
