How refreshing it is to see a well-done bridal portrait.  Her beauty and your skill at capturing it are a breath of fresh air.   I hope everyone on Photo.net will see and appreciate it on many levels.  Great job!

Beautiful bride indeed, and wonderful soft focus portrait.  Lovely soft light and great tones.  Excellent image.  Regards - michel

Steve,

Wonderfully posed and wonderfully lighted. , with a whimsical and lovely facial expression.

My only suggestion for improvement is that you have come very close to cutting off the top of her head, and since such a picture is a strong candidate for framing, you may discover that the frame or a matt is cutting into her head when you mount the print.  Perhaps you allowed more space in the original, and can reframe.

A beautiful portrait of your daughter.  The pose is casual and relaxed, her gaze really connects with the viewer, and the lighting is soft and romantic.....fitting for such a beautiful young lady.  I doubt that you were taking pictures at your own daughter's wedding, but I hope the hired photographer did half as well as you have with this image.

As always i really appreciate your comments.  I did take the photos at my daughters wedding- at her request.  Regards Steve

Having your daughter ask you to be her photographer is the ultimate compliment.  You do fine work, so I'm not surprised she would want you to do it.  Still, you're one brave man!  ;-)  I shot the pictures for my sister's wedding, and I felt that it was such an awesome responsibility.
