melloncollie 0 Posted September 13, 2011 an excellent macro shot! perfect technique and composition, interesting pose. a 7 from me.can i ask you a technical question: how can you achieve such blurry background at f/8 ( and sometimes i saw even with f/14)? especially that it is only 50mm lens, and the subjects are further than the minimum focusing distance ( i think). i know that theoretically the background must be as far as possible, but even so, in practice i can not achieve such backgrounds at small apertures with my 105mm lens ( which supposed to be even more blurry).best regards. frontado 0 Posted September 13, 2011 Hola Zsolt y Jeremy: gracias por sus comentarios. Link to comment

color 3 Posted September 14, 2011 Excellent work. I enjoy the colors and symmetry and the pair of butterflies positioned just so. And the DOF is shallow, focused in just the right plane. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 14, 2011 Beautiful macro work, superb and well balanced exposure value, the details are remarkable and so fine, the colors are also very vivid and pleasant while the blurred back ground do provide the necessary isolation for the main subject adequately and do add to the well thought off composition. The 50MM Macro lens, indeed did a great job with blurred back ground and thats the nature of such macro lens at close up distant, beautiful job.Thank you for sharing it an wishing you all of the best. gallego 1 Posted September 22, 2011 Hola Jose. Perfecta y bella simetria. Link to comment
