I like the motion granted by the slow shutter speed, the colours are varied and a treat. But mostly it's the sky that appeals - looking at it one way it resembles a shot of the blue Earth from outer space. Lighting must have been tricky, congrats on that score too.

What a beautiful picture - so rich in colors, motion, ...

The sky looks fantatic too - resembles outer space as Seven pointed out. Did you do this in one take? How did you get this picture to turn out so nicely?

Daniel,

You have one of the strongest portfolios for photojournalism that I have ever seen. Thank you for sharing. Your images are an inspiration to all.

Your work is simply stunning! You have manged to do what so few photographers have acomplished, namely--you have transcended the genre cliche of the vibrant color hot air baloon. Instead you have given us (a vibrant shot to-be-sure) a frenetic and strong sense of motion and a hauntingly beautiful landscape.

The star effect in the moon is wonderful, especially in its contrast to the red tail lights ont he ground (SUPER SMALL APETURE?) and the forground lighting is spot on. really great.
