To my eye, this is a considerable improvement.  It's simply more realistic throughout, even though it is an un-worldly place (I've been here several times).  Nicely done.

Yes of course Stephen. The earlier version was deliberately surreal, as that's how my mind saw this place. Thanks for visiting and your comment. All the best.

Love it.  Love the fog which brings more beauty to the scene.  Very good composition.  Best Regards,

Somnath, when a photograph appears in the "landscape" gallery, I presume it was intended to be a landscape.  However, if you intended it to be "surreal," then the "digital alterations" gallery would have been a better choice when posting.  It's much less confusing to reviewers.  Alternatively, you could state up front that you intend for your image to be surreal because that is how the scene seemed to be to your eye.  That way we could know your processing was intentional and not the result of poor processing skills.

Thanks Stephen for your comment. I thing that's the reason I clearly mentioned it (in the critique request) in the other version of the same photo, which I wanted to make surreal as that is how the scene seemed to be to my eye. All the best.

Regards,

Somnath
