I wake up at 6.00 to take this shot! Tourlida is in Mesolongi region

in Greece. Its a paradise for photographers!

Hi Andreas,

I'm afraid I disagree with some of the others who have commented on your shot.  For my taste, the sky at the horizon looks a little over-saturated, and I think you have too much blue sky at the top of the shot.  I think this shot would work much better with a square crop.  I like the hint of something beneath the water in the foreground, but I couldn't bring this out sufficiently from the uploaded file, so I ended up cropping it out, as I find it distracting.  I darkened the mountains to create a little more contrast with the sky, and lightened the foreground slightly.

I do very much like the stillness of the water, and the angle/position of the pier is great.

honestly its so damns easy to critique a shot but to take some thing this incredible demands guts and skill. Bravo my friend. It was definitely worth sacrificing the sleep(:
