I tried to answer that question for myself and could not.  The eye goes to the brightest thing in the composition which is the blown out straw on the hat.  Your image does not make me think or feel anything.  Google    PPA, 12 elements of a merit image   and learn about the elements that make for a strong artistic image.  Also, connect with other experienced photographers in your area you respect who can give you constructive feedback on your work.  Good luck.
