I love your work. This is beautifully creative.

Very interesting techique, nice tones.

I think its a cool pic, but one thing bothers me. Its the border. Not the photo doesnt need one, but the border you have here look very, um, fake, like imageready fake, filter fake. I think if you tried once more with another border it would add alot. Otherwise i like it. : ) Sorry about the harsh wording...

The proof is in the pudding - what it looks like. And if it looks "fakey" then that is bad enough.

 

But as it turns out there's nothing fake about it -- It was made with hand-coated paper, and those are the brush strokes where the sensitizer was laid down. Nothing was done to the picture but reversal and slight brightness/contrast adjustments.

Stunning image. Hope you can contribute more of these.

It's a real shame that so few people have ever seen the real thing let alone ever coated their own paper.
