A very powerful image...very evocative...the tight composition is perfect for the emotion that this image conveys...and while I'm not sure it was deliberate, the jumbled and confused background does as well.  I can't help but be drawn in here and feel empathy for the woman...though I can only imagine why she is crying.  This is excellent.

That's a terrific image. Real emotion.

A very nice black and white conversion and effective use of DOF. The hand in her face, the tear and the high contrast adds drama. What I like is that Im not able to interpret the scene, there is not much context, so you leave a lot of mistery to the viewer (at least for me) and that intrigues me in a good way of course. Tears of joy or tears of sadness? Well done Selina!
