Lilac breasted roller

This gorgeous little bird was taken at Chester Zoo, in one of the large

outdoor aviaries they have there...I used several blended textures to

compliment his lovely plumage, but made sure to keep a hint of the original

background bokeh to give that added depth to the image.

Textures used were from Rubyblossom and Shadowhouse Creations, both

off Flickr

Pauline this little guy is exquisite. I have never seen anything like him before. He looks magical, as if he is from a children's fairy tale.  The background is perfect. I love it. 7

I just love how soft this is. Very adorable, and the textures/colors are all just perfect. I would love a huge print of this hung in my house!
