my feathered friends One Eye Blind

This short-eared owl was rescued because he couldn't fend for

himself being blind in the left eye. He is used to teach children and

adults about birds of prey through 4H clubs.

If you want to show a beautiful picture Lori, why don't you fix the blind eye!

Lori I think you were right not to fix eye. He is beautiful just the way he is.

Pierre, you know I value your opinion, but I have to go with Paula on this one!  This wise old bird is who he is because of his partial blindness...why would I present him as something else just to please the human eye?  He is a beautiful creature...as are you, my friends!
