h._p. 2 Posted June 29, 2003 I always do :-) I'm afraid I think this is one of those shots that need to be in monochrome. The colour distracts quite badly from the graphics of the image. The basic proportions are quite good and you get away with the bright lamp because it's in the right place but in mono you could tone that right down and let the man have more prominence. I think this is one that would be worth playing with in Photoshop but at the moment it's not working in my opinion. Link to comment
wisdumb 0 Posted June 29, 2003 The color is okay, b&w might be more moody; not sure about how I feel about the man being almost centered, the lighted buildings at the rear draw my eye past the best part of the picture, maybe black them out in PS & crop to just above the light on the left...? sanjeewa_wickramarachi 0 Posted June 29, 2003 I vote to keep it color as it you have intense contrast in color as well as light. Good perspective too. Good color. Good light. Good composition. I've tried something quite similar(see here). Only yours is far more interesting! Link to comment
aryeh_hillman 0 Posted July 9, 2003 this has great atmoshphere, i really like it. it would be kinda neat to see a little more of the outside of the tunnel as maybe a bigger part of the picture. again, really neat, though Link to comment
