mike_palermiti 3 Posted August 15, 2011 Hi Salar,You captured one phase of the lunar eclipse.Suggestions:The DETAILS are very important here, since you did not state what lens, camera and settings were used for this shot. That will limit the help that I can provide to you.Since the image on the bright side is over exposed, a longer exposure would have developed some color from the eclipsed side on the right of the image. However, I do not know the focal length, so a longer exposure might not work due to the Earth's rotation.I do not know what ISO or F-stop you used. A greater ISO rating might have developed more color without an extended exposure. A faster f-stop (lens opened up more) might solve the exposure issue, too.The top of your moon image shows a shading that is not due to the eclipse. Is this a cloud, a spot on your camera or lens ?????? Best Regards, Mike Link to comment
