Amity in a window

I'm not particularly fond of the washed-out effect here; it lessens the visual interest for me. Tip: I would put this under the "Portraits" category to get more feedback on it once it leaves the initial "Newest Critique Requests" page. BTW, I really like photo# 1504360 in your Family folder..:)

I took this picture spot metering my daughter, but inadvertanley blew

out the window. I actually like the effect although unplanned for.

I wanted to find out others opinions on it.
