Yes the highlights are harsh but I don't think this detracts from the aesthetic appeal of this image...on the positive side I like the framing for this image...it has an interesting fashion mag feel to it...the background is blurred perfectly and contrasts just enough to create a nice separation for your lovely model.  I think all the elements work well together here...hair, makeup, lighting, pose, expression...overall a nice portrait.
