the lighting is perfect, the expression on his face priceless... just a great capture

A wonderful moment captured. The lighting is great, the expression - it lends something to the picture which, in my opinion, could not be said with a different person, this eccentric character who looks like Charlton Heston's portrayal of Moses!

Wonderful photo... As a musician and a photographer I can appreciate this work from both perspectives. Your work has spurred me on to improve the feeling that I convey im my photos. Thank you for sharing this beautiful photograph!

It's a gorgeous photo, and I don't think I can add much to what's been said above. But I would love to hear the end of the story. Did you find him? Did you give him the print? etc. Beautiful work, Bridget.

Not many photographic opportunities are realized to their full potential, but this one truly is...I believe that in order for something to be beautiful, it has to affect you emotionally, and Bridget, this is an amazingly beautiful image...Thank you.

Utterly perfect.

There is something intensely spiritual in this image. It has burned into my mind and I keep seeing it. I'll hazard a guess that this guy doesnt live on the street as you have supposed. If you do sell this image for mass reproduction, perhaps you could give this guy a cut? Especially if I am wrong and you are right, and he does live on the street! If you do go commercial with this, you will probably rake it in - and why not, more peoples lives would be enriched by seeing this. I look forward to seeing an exhibition quality print of this up close, one day.

This is a beautiful picture. Very well taken. Black and White photography at its best!

Beautiful job (and beautiful site on the net this is!)

I saw this image about a week ago and it has absolutely haunted me. I found myself thinking about it many times throughout the week. How better to measure success? Bravo!

This shot is absolutely sublime. I wish I had taken it. So passionately intense.

This image made me gasp when I saw it (and I don't often do that out loud in my office!). I've seen this man play before and have tried to capture the essence of it on film. Nothing I have ever taken comes even close. Hats off to you!
