bridget_hunt 0 Posted May 22, 2003 I have looked at everyones comments and it just brings happy tears to my eyes. I have received so many emails about the picture and received such support and encouragement it has made me feel so emotional. Tomorrow we are going to try and find this man and give him pictures and show him all the wonderful comments. I wanted to ask advice, I have been approached by several people who want to mass produce this image. I am an amateur and am not experienced in the commercial field of photography at all. If anyone has any suggestions or advice I would really appreciate it. What is also quite interesting is that I received lots of emails about the other picture of this man that I posted a short while back. Quite a few people prefer the other photo. If I was was going to produce 'the print' I would need to decide which one to do. The url of the other is: http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=1446754 Thank you again to you all, the feedback has been amazing and I will never forget it. Link to comment

mehrashk 0 Posted May 23, 2003 Hi Bridget, everyday when I wake up, the only thing I think is to check this photo and read the comments. Sometimes, after I go home, I feel so much missed about this picture and comments. I return to school and check it again. But about choosing between these two pictures. The first one is more real and emotional, however this one is more beautiful and more technical, the only problem is the ARC which is upside down. I suggest you choose the first one. Link to comment

david_provines 0 Posted May 24, 2003 Wonderful model. I like the depth of field with enough light in the background to add texture. This portrait tells a story. Excellent. Link to comment
misterken 0 Posted May 25, 2003 You ask for our advice? My advice is that we learn from you! You appear to have an artist's inspiration and the photographer's skill. You have come close to capturing the musician's soul in a photograph. I think what I am seeing is perhaps a reflection of your own. Link to comment

mikart 0 Posted May 27, 2003 Superb .. Very impressive picture with great emotion ... and very weel composed (tones, light, ..) I do prefer the second one, more focused on the expression of the violonist ... But both are great !! One of my favourite on the site .. Link to comment
andrew_yule 0 Posted May 30, 2003 You've captured his passion. I love the violin, and the sound it makes is just shown in his face. moving to his creative expression of emotion. i love it Link to comment
