I think the model in the scene is portrayed beautifully. I like the composition and how the lighting compliments her pose. The curves of the dunes in the background echo her curves well. I feel that the image is strong enough to not need the addition of the scratch effect. If you wanted to make it look old, tone would have been enough.

I agree with Mark on this. It looks a great shot already and the scratches may distract from it. It almost looks "pinholey" which may have also worked well if the model could have kept still long enough.
