david_troyer 0 Posted May 19, 2003 Hi all, Been away from my cameras for a bit and just got back on the horse! This is from a recent work/vacation trip to Colima, Mexico. Took a bit to get my timing back! hope you all like this one. Please let me know! Thanks, David Link to comment
luke_powell 0 Posted May 19, 2003 the timing and effort that goes into this shot (and so many others of yours) is remarkable. Well Done!! Link to comment
patrick_brossard 0 Posted May 19, 2003 Composition is just great. I really like the face-to-face impression of the waves forming the tube. Some ligthing (Flash) on the back of the surfer would have been appreciated to remove the spot on the top of his back. Very good job! Link to comment
john_phillippe 0 Posted May 19, 2003 This shot is just too cool. The color on the surfers back is a bit distracting, but that's just nitpicking really. :) Link to comment
terry_mccully 0 Posted May 20, 2003 Great work and use of the fisheye...you on your board or riding? Link to comment
photomd 0 Posted May 20, 2003 This photo may not be artistic, yet it's daring! I like the idea and colors. Technically very challenging and therefor deserves a salute. Overall - Superb (7/7) Best regards. Link to comment
liz_hillock 0 Posted May 20, 2003 Am going surfing in Newquay this weekend (yes, okay, not quite Mexico!) and will have to stick this pic on the dashboard to psyche myself up...it's truly inspiring! Liz Link to comment
darryn patch sydney austr 0 Posted May 20, 2003 I challenge ANYONE to do this and get somethung this good. Mate that is #$%@&n wicked. I shoot surfing too and this is up there with the likes of Simon Williams, The only bad thing about this and it is in no way your fault, but the lip isn't pitching far enough to give it the really round barrel, But I am used to shooting Kirra and Burleigh, they are as round as a cement mixer. adam_erickson 0 Posted May 20, 2003 This is a perspective I've never seen before and I am thrilled to see it. It must take some real skill to follow behind and manage the camera!! Link to comment
carol_watson 0 Posted May 21, 2003 Wicked! As someone who's surfed before, I can relate to how difficult this capture really was!! Nice shot! Link to comment
craig_allyn_rose 0 Posted May 21, 2003 The rat race may have caught up with me and limited my surfing, but your image is awesome and I echo the compliments of others - this is a 7/7 without a doubt! Cheers! Craig Allyn Rose // www.carosephoto.com Link to comment
