I like the vast expanse of blue that dominates this picture and the red and green of the plant that pulls your eye to the far end. Then it's right down the line to the swimming monster that peers at you with such curiousity. This picture alone shows your talent in assembling a compelling composition. It goes into my favorites.

Wow. Thanks Jack. Photography is a funny thing. I can walk around all day and not take a single photo I like, when looking, and then when not looking (as with this shot), there it is before you. I had no time (especially with the Lumix, not a DSLR, and so a bit slow), to prepare for this, but knew it when I saw it. Snap. Glad to hear you like it.

Yeah, I agree, it's funny how that happens. It's like for an instant the mirrord walls of perception crumble and you see into some other, deeper dimension. I take a lot of pretty good pictures but not many that blow my socks off. I think I've got to try to be more selective.
