nancygail 0 Posted August 1, 2011 Wonderful shot - my only change would be to crop out the shiny car cover - it would make the image long and narrow - echoing the mans limbs. I love how you captured their concentrated effort.Cheers,Nancy Link to comment

tonyfrench 0 Posted August 2, 2011 Ramesh, I like the POV with the men facing each other. I can imagine the man on the right continually pulling the cord that turns the stone while the man with the scissors concentrates on the sharpening. The B/W works very well. The top of the car cover in the background might be a bit too light, but it's not distracting the activity of the men. Link to comment
sagnikroy 0 Posted August 3, 2011 Great capture. The B&W tones , surroundings & the visible concentration in the faces of the men make it an excellent documentary image.Regards. Link to comment
steveshinn 0 Posted August 11, 2011 A really wonderful image Ramesh. I haven't seen this mechanism. Beautiful in its simplicity and design.Like others, I find the car cover a real distraction and it damages the whole feel of the image. I would clone, burn or crop it out. A crop to just past the shadow of the car really makes this image pop for me. It makes it a rather rectangular image but that's ok for me.Nice work. Link to comment
