JamieK 1 Posted August 18, 2011 The soft clouds are wonderful, and the sharp trails make them look even softer. The others are good, but I'm getting too old for military imagery. My illusions of anything at all being achieved by force seem to weaken year-on-year.I see a colour shift in the bright bit of the clouds, possibly caused by overexposure of the blue colour channel before the other colour channels. This would be very tricky to correct. You might try making your exposures a little darker. "Better safe than sorry," we say in English. best, j Link to comment
photodonn 0 Posted August 20, 2011 I also really like the clouds, and feel it makes the image far more interesting, as if the planes are headed into something dangerous and foreboding... particularly due to the darkness in the upper right. The overall balance of the image is excellent. We've all seen lots of images of planes in flight, and at this distance it would otherwise be completely uninteresting, but instead it's pretty evocative. Nice work! Link to comment
