After the play, I took a candid shot of my friend, Alessandra, who

was one of the dancers (one of the Shark girls) in the play, West

Side Story.

Alessandra was in the West Side Story play I attended on Sunday. I noticed her vibrant smile and just had to capture it.

Indeed the expression carries happiness and expresses it well.  However the image seems underexposed with the skin dark and with loss of detail in the hair.  Using Adobe Raw, I readjusted the tones and then vignetted the image to darken the background.

Alessandra is a beautiful, talented woman. She was in the play, West Side Story. She laughed with my niece (out of the frame), so I captured it.
