Not enough definition in the shadows. When using a dark background and dark clothes you run the risk of the subject disappearing into the background which has happened here. He looks like he has no body just hands and a face. Not really cool in a portrait.

Very interesting image. Has me wondering where the football comes from. I would like a little separation between the clothes and background.

nicer to see different bg as it mixed with his cloth - then it seems his head, hands were suspended in the air!
