My first and strongest bit of advice is to view this in Photoshop. There's just enough color loss to make this look drab and lifeless in the browser. I think I'd be very tempted to clone out the bit of superstructure in the upper left. Other than that, I think it really works.

It feels overexposed and the blue cast may be a little much for me. This is a tough shot to get the tonal range on film without at least one ND grad. I do like the idea and the composition.

If it weren't for the bright red life ring this image would be almost monochromatic. The push/work boat seems to be the intended subject but the red semicircle dominates. I love the evening sky in the BG.
