lawton_segler 0 Posted May 17, 2003 I am a very amateur photographer and these are the first photos I have wanted to display. I took these while visiting the Smoky mountains. They are the first, and only, slides I have taken in the last few years. I used slide film according to the advice I found in a nature photography book. These mounted slides were sent to be scanned as 18meg tiffs. I am not very happy with the scans, but I do want to have some prints made. The images on the slides look much much better. Are there problems with scanning slides? Who should I use to make the prints? I have tried local labs. Their results vary from bad to horrible. I hope that requesting a critique was the correct way to ask these questions. Thanks in advance. Lawton Segler Link to comment
teddy_werngren 0 Posted May 17, 2003 The picture is dramatic with the silhuett of the trees, but I would prefer a little darker and sharper background. Link to comment
oliver_indra 0 Posted May 18, 2003 Sorry, but this one is totally unspectacular and seems to be out of focus. Greetings, Link to comment
