.............. yet another great capture in your series. Love the subtle pale yellow of the under-wings.

To possibly answer a previous posters question........ I would imagine that your viewing of these regular visitors to your garden would give you some insight as to whom was paired with whom... yes?

Good shot.... well done.

Regards

Hi all

Thanks for the great comments. I should have written about the 3 birds in this series.

The two in this photo come to my garden regularly and I have always assumed by thier closeness that they are a pair. Yesterday a third bird arrived and was trying to make a move on the female. Her mate was making a great macho show, squawking and flapping his wings in a very possesive manner. The din the males (??) made was extraordinary whilst the female appeared to sit by watching with mild interest.

regards to all

Hi Margo

Thanks for your comments. These are Sulphur Crested Cockatoos that visit my garden each morning and afternoon. I live very close to a Lake where they roost at night and I seem to be on their daily route.

kind regards

Hi Maro

Thanks for your image, yes these do appear to be a bit different from yours with more yellow on the under belly and a fuller crest. Maybe a Perth version?

Hi Louise, I was hoping to find an image of a chicken but came across these two instead and they have made my day. The thought of the female watching with mild interest while the males shout and squawk reminds me of nights out in by-gone years, and puts a big smile on my face.

You are very lucky to have these lovely birds visit your yard/garden, we don't get anything quite so exotic here in the UK. Just the odd chicken now and again.

All the very best to you, I look forward to viewing more of your images in the months to come.

Kindest regards

Gareth.

Hi Gareth

Thanks for your kind comments. These are indeed very interesting birds, they come to my garden morning and night and I never tire of their antics!

You may not have galahs like these in the UK but your wildlife is very nice, I have enjoyed your portfolio a lot, especially the owls and squirrels and yes even that chicken!

Kind regards and thanks again for looking.

Louise,

Having view the other photographs of this series, . . . well, very appropriate title!

It's as if he's telling you that She's mine! and, shouting with that wide open beak!

Beautiful Birds, and I'm certain a joy to watch!

Regards always,

Jim j.
