One of the best here on Photo.net in my opinion. Love the subtle dynamic range. Also the blue saturation is very nicely done.

Also there is practically no noise in the darker areas.

This is one crazy shot, Marc.  Very strong composition and lighting is superb.  You have once again taken advantage of a fantastic situation.  Cudos!

Hi Marc, this is my first ever comment here on photo.net, and I must say I love this one. Very graphic presentation and a striking composition. Those cracked slabs as a foreground truly enhance the feel of this tree erupting into that glorious sky.

A couple quick fixes to consider. There appears to be about 3 dust spots just right of center along the top of the frame, and there is a thin line of something gong on along the bottom, maybe a misaligned adjustment layer? Whatever it is, it seems to be a bout 1-2 pixels tall. I thought it might just be here on photo.net, but it shows up on your site as well. Depending on how you print and mat your images, it could show up...or not. Just thought I should let you know.
