This image is a revision to my original.  I decided on a 4x5 crop...Anyways, morning sunrise at a sea stack along the south shore of Cape Blanco, Oregon. The tide was out all morning and revealed more beach details. It was a perfect start to the morning. The flowers in the foreground would be illuminated by sunlight in about 15 or so minutes...giving the scene a different feel. Single image shot at f/22. Comments welcomed & additional suggestions.

OK, this is where it totally suck to live near flat beaches without rocks and just boring sand.  Those flowers are just amazing, the color, the detail, the contrast.  This would be perfect if the rock was not there, the rock is like icing on the cake.

If I had to nitpick, I'd say the vignetting it a tad strong.  I'm just blown away!

Great shot, both for the composition and the beautiful exposure.  Just curious though, why would you shoot at f22 and suffer with the softening effects of diffraction, when say f12 would have given you the same DOF in the foreground and background?

Don't get me wrong, the pic doesn't look soft...at least at your posted size.  It's a fact though that extreme small apertures like f22 does cause diffraction, so I was just curious.

Amazing landscape.  I'm surprised that you got a coastal shot at that f-stop and had no flowers blowing.

Clint & Douglas, I actually took two sets of four shots of "this" scene before I moved on and the lighting increased.  My first three shots comprised of f/16 at three different focal lengths (for stacking) then the last shot of ea set was at f/22.  I agree with the diffraction, but this is a new lens (Nikon 16-35, for full frame) where I did not notice any significant diffraction at this focal length is the previous two days of images.  Now, my Nikon 24-70 is a different story.  In the images f/16, a couple of flowers did move, but the morning breeze was moderate at that time. I have a couple of other wide angles (for full frame & DX), but this one is impressing me...even at f/4.

Don't know why i liked so much this three pictures of your. Maybe cos they combine nature and abstract...

Maybe im in mood for that kind of art. Im not fun of nature pics, or landscape. But this three you have with that kind of obelisk are great.

Why did you put your signature on bottom? That kind ruin impression. I doubt that someone will steal it

I remember one thing, you should capture little more sky above that obelisk. If you have with more sky please upload.
