drkness 0 Posted December 20, 2001 no doubt its a good pic.. but if the light hadn't been visible, the model would be accentuated and the viewer would be drawn towards her.. also a little more close-up would reveal the model and made it look more seductive.. but hey!... really good pic... jasmine_obrien 0 Posted December 21, 2001 Amy says she doesn't understand my comments so I'd better explain. I really like this photo (see gradings) partly because of the quality of the lighting etc but especially because it shows a kind of ideal situation when you can be uninhibited & daring (eg naked) because you're totally alone while still being intensely conscious of your self (taking your own picture). This could produce a kind of auto-erotic feeling where you might feel like masturbating & I think this is implied (consciously or subconsciously) by the pose. By chance the next photo I looked at (http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo.tcl?photo_id=200405) seemed to confirm my thought by the very relaxed & luxurious position you're in. Amy, is this clear enough? Link to comment
armin_seeholzer 0 Posted January 11, 2002 But I don`t understand the comment of Jasmine. What has taking pictures to do with masturbating? Jasmine if you do it means not thad Amy does de same and the same way! Link to comment
momente 0 Posted August 16, 2003 I don't think Jasmine meant it that way. It wasn't an offensive thought, but rather a subtle, sensual allure, to which I agree. People shoudn't jump and point fingers like that. Link to comment
harishon 0 Posted September 4, 2003 This whole folder is very original. The composition of all photos is just incredible. It's hard for many of us to achieve that while we behind camera, you managed to do that while being in front! If you could share your technic of self portraite with us-that would be great! Of course, very few of us would look as stunning in front of camera as you. Link to comment
michael_b_rm 0 Posted October 30, 2004 Very good. I like the idea of this pic and I like the mood of it. Very mystical. Regards Michael Link to comment
eric_olson 0 Posted January 2, 2006 This is an exquisite photograph, and I would like to own at least a larger digital version of it if not a print. It conveys a complex message of feminine mystery, a feeling of joy of body consciousness, a feeling of daring while revealing nothing, and is compositionally quite strong. Moreover, it just moves me and causes me to think and wonder. What more can you ask of a photograph? Link to comment
