This is Pea Island. Pea Island was the only all African American run coast gaurd station in the Outer Banks of Nags Head from the late 1800's until the 1940's

I really like the way the sand dune leads my eye to the building. Looks like a bit of flare on the house. Unfortunatly the polarizer didn't do enough to the sky. I think that's the only thing lacking. Nice shot!

I love the solitude of this picture. It is lonely but I would love to be there for some reason.
