I like this portrait...but there are some issues that detract from its overall aesthetic impact...I think here while the soft natural light is effective, the setting is distracting and overpowers your subject...also her turned back gaze is nice, but her pose in general is awkward and stiff...a lovely model for sure.

........... I like your DoF used here. The larger image shows a good clarity throughout. A very colourful image that isolates Katie from the background very well. Her pose, for me, is natural and very "open"... although I might have prefered her looking down the lens barrel (but who knows?). Her orange top works well with her skin tone and finishes off a very acceptable image.

I might have played around a little with the presentation, in terms of trying different crops..... a little off the right, or a bit off the top..... just to break away from an almost dead-centre framing.

Some camera/lens and exif data would have been nice.

But nevertheless, a damn fine image....... well done to you both.

A wonderful outdoors portrait taken on a nice day with an interesting background.

The young lady is attractively dressed and has a very pretty face.

I like it.  Maybe not technically perfect in portrait styles, but the image caught my eye and brought me in for a single view of the photo. 

Clean, colorful, to the point. A little vignetting might help but I really like the image.
