I really like the the linearity of the stripes, cut by the perpendicular sun rays. Composition if excellent, appropriate depth of field. Good job

A very good composition, the best of the three you expose. Its not necessary to know what is it to appreciate the picture, but really... what is it exaxtly ?

It's made by a farmer, the "bed's" for Asperagus I think (latin name, don't now english name) I am very pleased you like it. regards, Hans

Hello Hans,

I would just like to add my admiration for all 3 of these "farmers" photos - and I like this one the best. You were right to get out early in the morning and patiently wait for the sun to "paint" the planting rows.

The texture is wonderful, and the combination of curves a straight lines, plus the magic light, are magnificent

"Asparagus" is perfectly good English as well!

Thank you very much Stephen, we just made a4 prints of it for in the livingroom because my wife likes them very much too. Indeed the light was very very special. But I actually HURRIED through these pictures to a nature area for making picures of young growth (can you imagine?????.........) since these pictures I take my time for what I find and see, other then going for my chosen theme!

I like a lot this image and in particular the dynamism with which the furrows bend at the top of the picture and the way the "lines" of light are perpendicular to the lines of land... a very interesting and powerful visual effect.
