Horse after a race at the Illinois State Fair.

I love photographing the race horses at the state fair.

I'm not interested in gambling, I just like visiting with the horses and taking a great portrait of them.

This one had just finished a race and was returned to the barn when I photographed him.

BTW, my dentist loves this photo!

At first I wondered where his eyeballs were and then I realized that those weren't eyes; those were nostrils. If you were to put a wig above those nostrils, it would make for a creepy look for Halloween. I like the picture.

--unusual ---despite appearance, horse is not "grinning" -a trotter? (He plays or fights the snaffle bit in his mouth)

I think it would be gratly improved if the hand was not there. Anyway, it´s a nice shot, that crazy horse made me laugh

I almost fell off my chair laughing when I saw that one! He looks like a civel war charger after a fight. ("we sure whipped'em good boys"!)I'm still laughing!
