vincetylor 0 Posted May 13, 2003 Fabulous capture! The detail, lighting, sky, colors, reflection and dark clouds all work together very nicely here. Harmony indeed! Been a while since I could do this...7/7 Link to comment

david_cort_s 0 Posted May 13, 2003 Tu maîtrises toujours aussi bien l'exposition. So that the most luminous parts in your shot are striking, while enabling the other to be perfectly rich in details. Merci, encore une fois, pour cette belle réalisation. Link to comment
john_paskey 0 Posted May 14, 2003 Great mood, love the sky and dark color tones. Good composition but I would like to see a little less water but the reflection is good. Link to comment
ben_crabtree 0 Posted May 15, 2003 It's wonderful as it is, but if you trim about 30% off the bottom, you end up with another option - a striking panoramic, and you do away with the somewhat distracting lighter-blue water on the front left. I have not seen a better portfolio than yours. Oustanding work. Link to comment
hugh_d. 0 Posted May 15, 2003 Superbe peinture Francis ! Ces clair-obscurs produisent toujours cet effet dramatique, accentué par ce hot spot dans le coin gauche. Belle composition! Link to comment
jimmcnitt 0 Posted May 15, 2003 Like so many excellent images, this view of Honfleur is imbued with a feeling of timelessness. Je vous salute! Link to comment
photomd 0 Posted May 15, 2003 Hi Francis. Artistic and fantastic. Excellent composition and DOF. Good lighting. Colors are flat. I wish the sun shined at the time you pressed the shutter release botton to illuminate the tops of the bluidings or the boats. It would've been a perfect picture. Overall - Excellent (6.5/7). Salute. root 0 Posted May 16, 2003 The strength is in the color and contrast of the middle third. I agree that the bottom third could be removed. If you wanted to keep the same aspect ratio, you could remove the left side since the light sky draws the eye. . . .but it's still nice the way it is. Link to comment
Stock-Photos 1 Posted May 16, 2003 What makes this image stand out IMHO, is the way availalbe light mixes with the incandecents. After sunset, but before darkness is key. Great job. Makes me want a D10 even more. Link to comment
