Uhooru 2,207 Posted May 13, 2003 Whoa Ansel!!! Don't you wish you had a view camera??? That would really create an extremly dense tonal image. But this is still a beaut. Link to comment
marina_bisi 0 Posted May 13, 2003 Semplicemente meravigliosa! Complimenti! Link to comment
hal_bruce 0 Posted May 15, 2003 Has a bit of an Ansel Adams feel to it. Rather too dark on the left.... on my monitor. Link to comment
philmorris 0 Posted May 16, 2003 It's better than the colour version. The high level of blue in open shade is off-putting. Now if you'd used a serious 81 series warm up filter with your colour shot my opinion might be different. Compositionally there's a nice balance between left and right. The far ridge links nicely with the ridge you're standing on and the eye can just swing to and fro across that line. Link to comment
michael_brown6 0 Posted May 16, 2003 Much better scaled to grey. Beautiful place, and nice composition, although a touch more sky may have improved the balance? I agree with a couple of comments above that the outcrop to the left is a lttle too dark for the amount of space it occupies in the frame. I like the fact that you are above the mist/cloud, it gives that feeling that you are at a significant altitude. Link to comment
