My buddy investigating a partridge tun. I don't often shoot people

underwater, so your advice would be appreciated.

Jeff:  I think people add interest.  Actually this guy is very interesting on his own.  What kind of mask is that?  He looks like the masked bandit or the Lone Ranger.  The light is a little too bright.  The verbiage "Aqua Lung" distracts -  better if it wasn't there.  There is also a metal looking object just to the left of the snail that would be better not there.  The flash gave your friend catch lights in his eyes which is good.  I'm wondering if there was  just a little light in the background to give your friend form so he didn't blend into the background.  I know.  "Is he kidding?  I nearly floated away just trying to take the shot."   I've been there but leaving aside the difficulty of getting a good shot underwater, it's alway nice to dream about a perfect scuba shot.  Well done..  Alan

Hi Alan-

That's the kind of advice I was looking for!  I agree 100% with your comments and honestly would not have thought to add a light behind the diver to give him more form as well.  To add, I thought there was a little too much backscatter in the diver's light-beam.  Thank you for your comments.
