I like this shot - but I liked the color version better for 2 reasons:

1)  The size contrast
2)  The color contrast

I think that I'd like this shot better if you incorporated both aspects - zoom out a bit, bump-up the saturation, apply the black and white filter, then perhaps bump-up the contrast.

cool shot, though.  Would be a good poster-sized print.
